Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Beecher (ranked 2051 p4p, 91 weight class) and Geo Versu (ranked 22072 p4p, 225 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Beecher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Geo Versu!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beecher slips a jab from Versu.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Beecher lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Versu has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Versu and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Beecher takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Beecher lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Well Versu has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Geo Versu tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
