And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Royal Pain!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pain wants to clinch up but Anderson keeps it at a distance.

Anderson tightens his grip and picks Pain up, before dumping him to the ground. Pain manages to land in guard.
Pain tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Anderson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Anderson won't allow Pain to get back to his feet.
Anderson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pain wants to get back to his feet but Anderson is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Anderson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pain has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anderson has managed to get both his arms back between Pain's legs - danger averted.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Anderson perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Pain is looking for a sweep. Anderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Anderson is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Pain looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Anderson is fending him off so far but Pain persists. Nope, Anderson circles away and we're back to standing.
Anderson half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Pain lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Anderson circles away quickly and effectively.
Pain wants to clinch.
As Pain backs away, Anderson returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.

Pain moves into range and clinches up with Anderson.
Pain tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Anderson's elbow.
Pain struggles to land a body shot inside as Anderson controls his hands.
Pain tries a body shot but Anderson blocks it.

Anderson prevents Pain from breaking the clinch.

Pain is fighting off a takedown attempt but Anderson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Pain to the mat. Pain regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Pain is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Pain is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Anderson has his hands clasped together but Pain extends and breaks Anderson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Pain.
