Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eunan Moray!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marais tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moray paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Marais shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Moray misses with a lunging right hand

and Marais counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marais trying to mount his opponent but Moray defends it.
Moray wants to get back to full guard.

Moray is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marais pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Moray is looking to improve his position.

Moray looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Marais looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Marais is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Moray has managed to free his arm - good work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marais connects with a nice short shot to Moray's temple.
Marais looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Moray is refusing to be controlled, as Marais sits in half guard.
Moray is looking to improve his position.

Marais is working for a kimura but Moray is defending it quite comfortably.
Moray wants to control but Marais is keeping busy and won't allow it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Marais tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Marais has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Moray regains half guard.
Marais is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Marais is thwarting Moray's attempts to control the position.

Moray is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Marais pulls his head out easily.
Moray wants to control but Marais is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Marais winds up and cracks Moray with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Marais is working for a submission of some sort.
Moray wants to improve his position but Marais is controlling well.

Marais is keen to just control but Moray is a slippery customer.
Marais looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Marais seems to be working for a kimura but Moray defends the submission attempt.

Moray defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Marais.

Marais raining down hammerfists from mount.
Moray is wriggling around trying to escape.

Marais sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Marais avoids the attempt from Moray to control.

Marais looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Moray tries to lock up and control but Marais gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Marais fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Moray tries to reverse the position but Marais maintains control.
Marais takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Marais working for a guillotine from mount but Moray is in no mood to give up.

Marais has isolated one of Moray's arms. Moray looking to fight him off but Marais twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
