Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Jetson counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Jetson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Daniels tries for a takedown but Jetson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jetson wants to counter the offense by Daniels and move into the clinch position.

Daniels closes the distance looking to clinch

and Jetson counters with a shoot takedown. Daniels fights it but they end up in guard.
Jetson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Daniels swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Jetson is looking to work some ground and pound but Daniels has wrist control.

Daniels is looking to stand up but Jetson isn't so interested in that idea.
Jetson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Jetson is pushing down on Daniels's leg trying to pass to half guard. Daniels is fighting to maintain full guard but Jetson has managed to sneak the leg through.

Let's hope that Jetson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Jetson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Daniels sees it coming and defends easily.
Daniels knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jetson on the ground.
Jetson content to control rather than advance.
Jetson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
It looks like Jetson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Jetson tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Daniels.

Daniels is wriggling around trying to escape.

Daniels really wants to buck Jetson off and get back to his feet.

and Jetson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Jetson pulls Daniels in close to his closed guard and prevents Daniels from doing any damage or advancing position.
Jetson is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Daniels is looking to improve his position.
Jetson is taking a breather. Daniels says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Jetson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Daniels can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Daniels is in a horrible position here. Jetson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Jetson.
Jetson throws a sloppy strike and Daniels uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Daniels has ended up in Jetson's guard.
