The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boskins dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lyons. That did some damage!
Boskins looks to score with a jab to the body but Lyons is just out of range.
Boskins uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lyons.
Lyons lunges at Boskins with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Boskins's hand.
Lyons shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Boskins doesn't manage to clinch there - Lyons circles away.
Boskins feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Lyons bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Boskins's guard.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Dwayne Boskins.
Well Boskins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
