Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ryouta Sato!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Batts closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Batts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sato scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Sato lands a big uppercut and Batts crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Batts looks OK. Sato waves Batts back to his feet!
Batts is rocked!
It looks like Billy Batts has been cut.
Billy Batts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Batts drops his hands for a split second and Sato immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Batts face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Sato follows up with a right hand that knocks Batts into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
