Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith throws a body punch but Uszatov moves out of range.
Smith punishes Uszatov's body with a nice straight punch.

Uszatov shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Smith is pressing down on Uszatov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Uszatov is looking to work some ground and pound but Smith has wrist control.
Smith wants to stand and escape but Uszatov is having none of it.
Uszatov postures up in Smith's guard and throws a big left but Smith blocks it.
Uszatov throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Uszatov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Smith works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Uszatov throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Uszatov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Smith gets caught napping as Uszatov dives in and scores a takedown. Smith manages to retain guard.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Smith manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Uszatov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smith fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Smith jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Konstantin Uszatov has been cut.
Smith leaves Uszatov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Uszatov tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
John Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konstantin Uszatov.

Smith drops Uszatov with a beautiful combination! Uszatov stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Smith is looking for the KO!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nice takedown defense from Smith. No joy for Uszatov on that attempt.

Smith definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Uszatov walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Uszatov limp body while Smith jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
