Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Hope (ranked 2470 p4p, 339 weight class) and Isaiah Sturridge (ranked 3253 p4p, 427 weight class). Hope comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the Jungle. Sturridge is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: 0 Eight - By: Sap. Billy Hope has the better chin. The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sturridge throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Sturridge looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hope fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sturridge looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
We've been told by Hope's head coaches at Fight Hard that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Sturridge tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hope manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Hope uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Sturridge.

Hope will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sturridge swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Sturridge scores with the left hand. Hope knows he should have avoided that one.
Sturridge avoids the body shot from Hope.
Hope lands with an overhand left.
Hope throws out a powerful jab.
Hope displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sturridge throws out the jab.

Hope ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Hope lands a slapping body shot.
Hope misses with a few strikes there.
Hope throws a head kick that misses.
Hope cracks Sturridge with an open hand slap.
Sturridge swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hope misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sturridge tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Sturridge takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sturridge is rocked!
Hope moves forwards but Sturridge connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Sturridge shoots in for a double leg but Hope sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Hope tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hope lands with a shot to the body.
Hope has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sturridge finds it's way round the side to connect with Hope's head.
Sturridge misses the shot to the body.
Sturridge looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Hope knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sturridge on the ground.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sturridge lands a nice short elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round.

Sturridge with the ground and pound but Hope uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Sturridge pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hope is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sturridge postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hope is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Sturridge, into his guard.
Hope tries to stand but Sturridge is controlling from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sturridge looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sturridge is working an open guard so Hope takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Sturridge misses with a head kick.
Hope fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Billy Hope will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Isaiah Sturridge's cut.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hope takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sturridge works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A left lands for Sturridge.
Hope scores with a jab to the jaw.
Hope misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Sturridge shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Sturridge was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The strikes coming from Sturridge are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Sturridge throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Sturridge has hold of Hope's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Hope seems comfortable defending it but Sturridge has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Hope is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Hope is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sturridge couldn't care less - he's delighted!

During a confident post fight interview, Isaiah Sturridge thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
