The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Potamus there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hippo Potamus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Potamus connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
That kick from Potamus tenderised Ure's leg. Ure is trying to keep his angry face on.
Potamus dips to his left and cracks Ure with an uppercut!
Potamus scores with a jab. Ure acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Potamus throws a quick inside leg kick.
Ure sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Potamus looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Potamus fakes the leg kick and cracks Ure in the body.

Potamus feints and then cracks Ure's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Ure down.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Potamus throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Ure takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Potamus buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Potamus lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Potamus jabs Ure right on the nose. Ure blinks but takes it well.

Potamus lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Potamus lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Ure or not.

It looks like Phil Ure has been cut.

Ure tries to move into range but Potamus moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Potamus fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ure.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Ure has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Potamus.

Potamus breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Potamus thuds his right hand into Ure's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Ure walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Potamus throws a nice inside leg kick.
Potamus lands with a straight right. Ure didn't see that one coming.

Potamus moves into range and connects with a jab.
Ure on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Ure is still on wobbly legs! Can Potamus finish him?
Potamus drops Ure with a straight right hand, right on the button! Potamus follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
