Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Barton (ranked 6020 p4p, 374 weight class) and Lou Driessen (ranked 4432 p4p, 326 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lou Driessen!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Bruno Lombardi and Alyssa Summers.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Driessen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barton manages to avoid it.
Driessen digs a good hook to Barton's body.
Driessen looks to throw the jab but Barton is out of range.
Driessen jabs Barton to the body, keeping him at a distance.

Driessen gets the takedown into side control.
Driessen wants to lay and pray for a moment but Barton keeps working.
Barton stops Driessen from passing to mount.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Well Driessen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A very excited looking Lou Driessen rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
