Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Carey Blevins (ranked 24971 p4p, 0 weight class) and Killa Myke (ranked 5589 p4p, 482 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Carey Blevins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Killa Myke!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Leandro Rodrigues and Edson Gomes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Myke feints and as Blevins raises his hands in defense, Myke changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Myke postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Myke is looking to advance position but Blevins has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!

Myke really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Blevins looking to control and managing it successfully.
Myke is trying desperately to improve position.
Blevins content just to control the position here.
Myke tries to hold on but Blevins postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Blevins looking to control but Myke is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Blevins is working for a guillotine from mount but Myke frees his head quite easily.

Myke is squirming around, avoiding Blevins's attempts to control the action.
Myke tries to reverse the position but Blevins maintains control.

Blevins is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Myke to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Myke shrugs it off.

Blevins tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Myke is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Blevins takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Blevins with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Myke tries to lock up and control but Blevins gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blevins looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Myke tries to hold on but Blevins pushes him away.
Myke tries to reverse the position but Blevins maintains control.

Blevins avoids the attempt from Myke to control.
Myke is wriggling around trying to escape.
Blevins wants to control the pace but Myke is squirming around nicely.
Myke is looking to improve his position but Blevins isn't that keen on the idea.
Myke tries to control Blevins's body but Blevins pushes him off. Myke squirms to his side and now Blevins has his back!
Blevins trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Blevins is not going to allow Myke to sit and survive in this position.

Blevins looking for the choke but no joy.
Myke tries to escape but Blevins has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Myke trying to control the position but Blevins manages to sink in the hooks.
Myke really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blevins. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Will Blevins go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Myke tries to escape but Blevins has the hooks in and won't let him break free.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Blevins enables Myke to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Blevins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Carey Blevins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Blevins wants to stand but Myke is controlling the position.
Blevins could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Myke trying to control the position from guard on top but Blevins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Myke has gone for a leg lock! Blevins slips out almost immediately though and dives into Myke's guard.

Blevins is working Myke over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Blevins might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Myke wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Blevins is now in half guard.
Blevins lands strikes from half guard.
Myke is trying to control but Blevins manages to pass to mount!

Blevins is working for a guillotine from mount but Myke frees his head quite easily.

Blevins jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Myke is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Myke and Blevins has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Myke is looking to regain half guard here but Blevins keeps moving and retains side control.

Blevins staying calm.
Blevins's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Myke is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Blevins tries for a kimura but Myke is defending well.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Myke.
Myke lands a decent elbow from side control.

Myke tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Myke has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Blevins is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Myke asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Blevins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Myke can do to turn this around?

Myke is looking to take a break and control but Blevins is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Blevins manages to get to full guard.

Myke closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Blevins is trying to stand back up but Myke is controlling him

Myke takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Myke is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Blevins defends it well.

Myke is working for a submission of some sort.
Myke wants to advance to full mount but Blevins doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Myke is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Myke wants to get up but he can't break Blevins's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Myke trying to control but Blevins is working from the bottom.
Myke looking to sit in guard and control but Blevins gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Myke is trying to work for a sweep but Blevins has mounted him!

Blevins tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Myke is looking to improve his position but Blevins isn't that keen on the idea.

Blevins jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Myke manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Myke tries to buck Blevins off but Blevins is having none of it.
Killa Myke has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Carey Blevins is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carey Blevins.
Well Blevins has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
