Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Serada (ranked 2745 p4p, 310 weight class) and Rae Fon (ranked 2727 p4p, 308 weight class). Rae Fon is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rudi Serada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rae Fon!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Konstantin Menshow.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Serada scores with a punch to the head.
Fon moves in looking to clinch but Serada pushes him off.
Serada rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Fon closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Fon can't get the takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Fon has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Fon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Serada breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Fon is looking to clinch but Serada is avoiding it.
Serada throws a jab but it's blocked by Fon.

Fon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Fon thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Fon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Serada knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Fon swings around for an armbar but Serada sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Fon's guard.

Serada wants to get up but he can't break Fon's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Fon lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Serada wriggles free and stands up.

Serada gets tackled into the cage by Fon. Fon maintains the clinch.
Serada prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rudi Serada has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rae Fon.
Fon can't get the takedown.
Serada lands a left hand.
Serada tries to throw a body punch but Fon avoids it by throwing Serada back against the cage.
Serada stops a takedown attempt from Fon.
Serada lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Serada gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fon.

Serada breaks the clinch.
Fon tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fon misses with a takedown attempt

and Serada counters with a crisp right hand that drops Fon! Serada lets Fon back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Fon is rocked!
