The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianegro bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Niklas's head.

It looks like Troy Niklas has been cut.

Niklas moves into the clinch.
Niklas swings wildly with an uppercut but Emelianegro uses good head movement to avoid it.

Emelianegro breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Emelianegro clinches.
Emelianegro lands with a left to the head.
Niklas tries a body shot but Emelianegro blocks it.
Emelianegro blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Emelianegro scores with a shot to the side of Niklas's head.

Emelianegro breaks from the clinch.

Niklas tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Emelianegro counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Emelianegro punishes Niklas's body with a nice straight punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Emelianegro counters with a stiff right hand.

Emelianegro keeps the fight on the outside.
Troy Niklas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fighters circle momentarily. Emelianegro darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Emelianegro misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Niklas.
Niklas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Emelianegro paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Good exchange - Emelianegro coming out on top.
A left and a right from Emelianegro both land. Nice combination.
Emelianegro ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Emelianegro gets tackled into the cage by Niklas. Niklas maintains the clinch.

Emelianegro breaks from the clinch.
A jab lands there for Emelianegro.

That has opened up Troy Niklas's cut even more.
Niklas shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Emelianegro scores with a shot to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Niklas forces Emelianegro back against the cage and clinches.
Emelianegro lands a hook that snaps the head of Niklas backwards.
Emelianegro has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Niklas gets through Emelianegro's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Emelianegro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Niklas ducks into an uppercut from Emelianegro and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!
