Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Cool!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Atkins and Colin Fotheringham.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cool scores with a decent looking hook.

Decker forces Cool back against the cage and clinches.
Decker could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Decker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Decker throws a push kick but Cool slaps the foot to one side.
Cool checks the leg kick.

Decker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Decker showed some decent athleticism there.
Decker throwing shots but Cool is blocking nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Decker is looking for a kimura but Cool is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Decker to get the leverage.
Cool trying to control but Decker postures up.

Decker is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Cool sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Cool is looking for a sweep. Decker is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Decker working the head and body with strikes.

Decker is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cool doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Decker.
Cool keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Cool is staying active underneath Decker, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Decker thows a huge punch but Cool dodges it nicely.

Decker is working for a submission of some sort.

Decker is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Cool doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Decker.

Cool is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Decker pulls his head out easily.

Cool wants to sweep but Decker has passed to side control!

Decker looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Decker tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cool tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Decker is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Cool has managed to escape the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Cool working to try and regain half guard.
Cool reaches up to try and control the position but Decker seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Cool rolls and tries to escape and now Decker has his back!
Cool really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Decker. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Decker working for a choke but Cool is defending well.
Cool looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Cool is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Francis Decker dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!



Decker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Decker is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cool has escaped the position, nice work there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
An elbow from Decker crashes against the mat.
Decker sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cool is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Decker tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Cool tries to control but Decker manages to take his back.

Decker is working hard for the rear naked choke here.
Francis Decker overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Cool is in bad spot here.

Decker is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Cool can do to turn this around?
