Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arron Monroe (ranked 5233 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silva (ranked 5533 p4p, 0 weight class). Silva has chosen Incredible atmosphere as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Arron Monroe has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Arron Monroe seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a lazy head kick

and Monroe moves into the clinch.
Silva tries to break free but Monroe pushes him back against the cage.

Monroe breaks from the clinch.
Silva fails with an attempt to clinch.
Monroe dodges the punch combination from Silva .

Silva moves into range and clinches up with Monroe.
Silva wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Silva breaks the clinch.

Silva lands a left and a right that send Monroe crashing to the mat, dazed. Silva thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Monroe is rocked!

It looks like Arron Monroe has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Silva gets a clinch.
Monroe has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Monroe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Silva breaks the clinch.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Monroe.

Monroe closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Silva goes for a takedown in the clinch but Monroe prevents it.

Monroe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Monroe dodges the punch combination from Silva .
Monroe tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Silva manages to circle out of the way.
Silva tries a head kick but it misses.
Silva fails in his attempt to clinch.

Monroe has a takedown stuffed.
Silva lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Monroe falls backwards - clearly groggy! Silva dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
