Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaspars Petrovs (ranked 914 p4p, 148 weight class) and Kayring Saiarr (ranked 2112 p4p, 315 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Petrovs counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Petrovs.

Petrovs throws out a loose jab but Saiarr uses good head movement to avoid it.

Kayring Saiarr seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Saiarr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Kaspars Petrovs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kayring Saiarr.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Saiarr fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Petrovs looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Petrovs shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Saiarr eats them both and turns towards Petrovs to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Saiarr connects with a combination that backs up Petrovs into the cage. Saiarr lands a flurry of punches that gets past Petrovs's guard. Petrovs is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Saiarr bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
