Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Imbert (ranked 3070 p4p, 130 weight class) and Jeff Messer (ranked 2431 p4p, 103 weight class). Imbert comes into the arena with Welcome to the jungle-by GUNS N ROSES blaring out of the sound system. Messer has chosen Lumberjacks march-by Conway Twittie as his entrance music. Jeff Messer has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Messer loads up on a big right hand but Imbert slips the punch.
Imbert works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Imbert misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Messer.
Messer smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Jason Imbert has been cut.
Messer misses with a lunging right hand
and Imbert counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Imbert misses the jab.

and Messer counters with a straight right hand.
Imbert defending well as Messer loads up on a big left hand.
Messer throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Imbert counters with a three punch combo that has Messer backing up. Messer nods at Imbert to acknowledge the strikes.
Messer throws a lazy uppercut
and Imbert counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Imbert throws an overhand right that lands on Messer's shoulder, as Messer tries to avoid the shot.
Messer throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Imbert sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Messer throws a lazy right hand but Imbert sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Messer steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Imbert.
Messer looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Imbert throws an overhand right that lands on Messer's shoulder, as Messer tries to avoid the shot.
Imbert definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Imbert rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Messer counters with a nice uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Imbert throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Imbert avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Imbert throwing a counter right hand but Messer manages to avoid it.
Messer lands a jab.
Messer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Imbert loads up on a big right hand but Messer slips the punch.
Messer stuns Imbert with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Oooooh!!! Messer has knocked Imbert down with a huge combo! Messer steps away and waves a wobbly Imbert back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Imbert is rocked!
Imbert forces Messer back against the cage and clinches.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Messer lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Imbert to his knees! Messer keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jeff Messer!
Jeff Messer took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I'm a bad bad man.....i rearranged that fellers face haha where you at Splinter?'.
The defeated Jason Imbert had this to say: 'That guy had a boner the whole fight...it threw me off my game I'll be back.'.
