Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between TJ Goodard (ranked 1865 p4p, 229 weight class) and Mickey Flannerry (ranked 2232 p4p, 267 weight class). Goodard comes to the cage accompanied by Rise of the Titans by-DIMMU BORGIR. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mickey Flannerry!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goodard slips under a jab from Flannerry.
Goodard tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Flannerry defends well and Goodard ends up having to push Flannerry into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Goodard scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Goodard shoots in looking for a takedown. Flannerry tries to sprawl out of it but Goodard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flannerry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Flannerry takes a swing at Goodard's ribcage but misses.
Flannerry has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Flannerry misses with a few strikes there.
Goodard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Flannerry throws a counter combo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Goodard. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Flannerry ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Goodard takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
No joy there for Flannerry, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sloppy strikes from Flannerry. Those never looked like landing.
Goodard's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Flannerry connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Goodard scrambles back to his feet.

It looks like TJ Goodard has been cut.

Mickey Flannerry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Flannerry loads up on a big right hand but Goodard slips the punch.
Goodard changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Goodard has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Goodard shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Flannerry defends it nicely.
Goodard displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Flannerry throws out the jab.
A left and a right from Flannerry both land. Nice combination.
The crowd cheers as Flannerry lands an impressive looking overhand right. Goodard doesn't seem phased though.

Goodard is rocked!
Goodard walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Flannerry! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Mickey Flannerry decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
In defeat, TJ Goodard stepped up to the mic, saying 'Eh....you win some,you lose some I'm not done yet!!'.
