PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bwana Mkubwa (ranked 2348 p4p, 105 weight class) and Cat Fhin (ranked 2924 p4p, 126 weight class). Mkubwa comes to the cage accompanied by You're Going Down. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bwana Mkubwa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Cat Fhin!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Francis DeMontford and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Mkubwa coming out on top.
It looks like Cat Fhin has been cut.
Fhin rushes Mkubwa and presses him up against the cage.
Fhin breaks from the clinch.
Fhin lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mkubwa circles away quickly and effectively.
Fhin darts in and clinches Mkubwa up against the cage.
Fhin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Fhin rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Mkubwa moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fhin on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mkubwa. Mkubwa obviously looking to wear him down.
Mkubwa drops Fhin with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Fhin looks back up at him and smiles so Mkubwa waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fhin misses with the combination.
Fhin misses with a jab to the body
and Mkubwa counters with a huge left! Fhin is in big trouble! He's backing up but Mkubwa isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Fhin from any more damage. A dominating finish by Mkubwa!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bwana Mkubwa!
Jumping up and down and very excited, Bwana Mkubwa waved his t-shirt featuring Hell's Balls Recovery (160)'s logo in front of the cameras.
