Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Micheal Wozniak!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wozniak clinches up with Owen and pushes him back against the cage.
Wozniak misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Wozniak gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Owen seems keen to control Wozniak's posture.
Wozniak stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Owen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wozniak trying to control the position from guard on top but Owen is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Owen has Wozniak pulled in close to control his posture.
Owen has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Wozniak wants to control from the top but Owen keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Owen is pulling down on Wozniak's head to control his posture.

Owen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wozniak is aware though and is defending well.
Owen trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.
Owen keeping moving, preventing Wozniak from controlling successfully.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Owen is on top in guard.
Wozniak can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Owen controls the pace.
This is a sustained period of stalling by Owen.

Wozniak is looking to stand up but Owen isn't so interested in that idea.
Owen won't allow Wozniak to sweep him here.
Owen engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Owen seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wozniak for as long as he can get away with.
Owen continues to hold on tight.
Owen is pushing down on Wozniak's leg trying to pass to half guard. Wozniak is fighting to maintain full guard but Owen has managed to sneak the leg through.
Wozniak is looking to improve his position.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Owen lands with a punch from half guard.
Owen with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Wozniak is trying to control but can't.
Owen decides to return to a standing position.
Wozniak dives in and scores a takedown into Owen's guard.
Wozniak is sitting in close to Owen's body. Owen has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Wozniak is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Wozniak is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Owen.
