Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Petko Petkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, JaMichael Moore!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Steve Montenegro and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Moore. Those never looked like landing.
As Moore tries to get set, Petkov tries to push him back and clinch up but Moore manages to avoid the attempt.
Petkov takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Moore misses with a kick to the body.
It appears Petkov was looking to counter with a kick there.
Petkov avoids the head kick by Moore.
Moore swinging wildly here.
Petkov quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Petkov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Moore, pushing him back against the cage.
Petkov tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Petkov has Moore pressed against the cage, preventing Moore from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Petkov breaks from the clinch.
Moore lands a nice looking kick to the body. Petkov takes a step back to recover.
Petkov tries to land a body kick
and Moore counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Moore comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Moore tries a head kick but it misses.

and Petkov counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Moore pushes Petkov off looking to stand but Petkov dives back in and keeps control.
Moore is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Petkov scores with a couple of nice shots.
Moore is trying to escape back to his feet but Petkov uses the scramble to pass into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Petkov seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Moore for as long as he can get away with.
Moore wants to get back to his feet but Petkov drags him back down.
We've been hearing that Petkov has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Moore is wriggling around trying to escape but Petkov has hooked up a rear naked choke! Is it over??? Is it... you're damn right it is! Moore taps out and Petkov picks up the big win! Great work there by Petkov!
