Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Clark Kent (ranked 553 p4p, 71 weight class) and Pat Verbeek (ranked 202 p4p, 27 weight class). Kent comes to the cage accompanied by Save Me - Remy Zero (Smallville Theme). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clark Kent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pat Verbeek!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Verbeek has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Well Verbeek has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
