Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mitsugu Takeishi (ranked 2500 p4p, 110 weight class) and Bubba Barzilla (ranked 4797 p4p, 175 weight class). Barzilla has chosen Ima Boss as his entrance music. Mitsugu Takeishi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barzilla will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Takeishi tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Barzilla manages to circle out of the way.
Takeishi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Barzilla looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Takeishi is fending him off so far but Barzilla persists. Nope, Takeishi circles away and we're back to standing.
Barzilla rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Takeishi moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Barzilla doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Barzilla just misses with a punch to the body.
Takeishi is looking to counter the offense by Barzilla and move into the clinch.
Barzilla throws a right and a left that both miss.
Takeishi slips a jab and a cross from Barzilla.
Barzilla throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Takeishi lands with a cross.

Takeishi closes the distance and pushes Barzilla back into the cage.
Takeishi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Barzilla up against the cage.
A nice left hand lands by Takeishi.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Barzilla tries a body shot but Takeishi blocks it.

Takeishi lands a big right hand that drops Barzilla! The killer instinct kicks in and Takeishi finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Takeishi!

After the fight, Mitsugu Takeishi was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
