Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lumpkin lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Richmond backs up against the cage.


It looks like Eldon Richmond has been cut.

Lumpkin fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Richmond, pushing him back against the cage.
Lumpkin tries to break the clinch but Richmond is controlling the position.

Richmond might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Richmond drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Lumpkin dives on top into guard.


Lumpkin gets to his feet. Richmond looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Richmond counters with a shoot takedown. Lumpkin fights it but they end up in guard.

Lumpkin decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Lumpkin stands and steps away. Richmond gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Lumpkin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Richmond's half guard.

Lumpkin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Richmond is just riding it out for now. Lumpkin eventually gives up the hold.

Richmond tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lumpkin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Richmond shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lumpkin counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
