Bassett takes a kick to the side of the head.
It looks like Jim Bassett has been cut.
Bassett dodges the punch combination from Smith.
Bassett gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Smith counter with a right hand.
Bassett lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Bassett shoots and misses
and Smith counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Smith looking to finish!
Bassett is rocked!
Smith gets to his feet and stands over Bassett, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Bassett felt that one! Smith unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Bassett from any more punishment!

A less than humble Johnny Smith misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
