Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Weston Mckinney (ranked 24881 p4p, 0 weight class) and Horacio Elizondo (ranked 5340 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elizondo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Mckinney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Mckinney tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Mckinney is controlling an arm, preventing Elizondo from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Mckinney is in all sorts of trouble here.
Elizondo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Mckinney manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Elizondo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Mckinney escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Elizondo lands a nice leg kick that just misses Mckinney's sensitive parts.
