Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Beard (ranked 7937 p4p, 283 weight class) and Deon Carruthers (ranked 5582 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Deon Carruthers!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carruthers shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Beard pinned against the cage. Beard gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Carruthers misses with a takedown
and Beard counters with a one-two to the body.
Beard wants to clinch up but Carruthers keeps it at a distance.
Beard throws a leg kick that misses.
Carruthers is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Beard with a body shot.
Beard shoots in looking for a takedown. Carruthers tries to sprawl out of it but Beard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Carruthers manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Beard dives in and grabs Carruthers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Carruthers pushes down on Beard's head and hops out.

Carruthers changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Beard tries to avoid it but Carruthers manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Beard to the ground. Beard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Beard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Beard shoots in looking for a takedown but Carruthers manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Beard's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Beard stalks Carruthers and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Carruthers's face. Carruthers staggers backwards, shaken.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
