The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man misses with a leg kick
and Monk counters with a straight right hand.
Monk moves away from the strike by Man.
Man throws a right hand that misses
and Monk counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Monk throws a leg kick but Man checks it.
Man pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Monk misses the shot to the body.
Man chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Monk can pounce on him.
Man throws a body kick that misses.
Man thows a left - swing and a miss!
Man keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Man connects with a body shot.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Monk throws a head punch that misses.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Man works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.

Monk manages to break the clinch.
Man misses with a head kick.
Man throws a body punch but Monk moves out of range.
Monk takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Man tests Monk's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Monk closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Monk looks to throw the jab but Man is out of range.
Man jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit.
Man scores with a spinning back kick!
Monk throws a hook but Man blocks it.
Man lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

It looks like Silas Monk has been cut.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Man looks to land a left hand but Monk moved out of range nicely.
Monk swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Man misses with a lunging right hand
letting Monk counter with a right hand.
Monk walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Man checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
A telegraphed right hand from Man misses the target.
Monk appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Man looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Man throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Monk's head.
A big right from Man misses.
Monk appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Monk takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Monk is rocked!
Man looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Man backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Monk's temple! It sends Monk violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Man celebrates and the doctors try to help Monk!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Snow Man!
Snow Man seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
