Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alpha Omega (ranked 1115 p4p, 111 weight class) and Jucci Hellstrom (ranked 2861 p4p, 253 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jucci Hellstrom!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Taro Takaoka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Omega dips to his left and cracks Hellstrom with an uppercut!
Hellstrom does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Omega is looking to counter punch.
Jucci Hellstrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A big left from Hellstrom misses.
Hellstrom slips a straight right by Omega.
It seemed like Hellstrom was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Omega jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

It looks like Jucci Hellstrom has been cut.
Hellstrom throws out a leg kick but Omega moves out of range and Hellstrom only half commits.
Hellstrom cracks Omega with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Omega has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Hellstrom looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Hellstrom slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Omega throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Omega lands a nice shot that snaps Hellstrom's head back.
Omega uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Omega on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Omega connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Hellstrom throws a shot from downtown. Omega moves away and avoids it.
Hellstrom looks to land a combination but Omega avoids it well.

and Omega counters with a nice right hand that sends Hellstrom toppling to the canvas! Hellstrom scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Omega finish him?!

A shot to the liver by Hellstrom. Beautiful body shot.
Hellstrom scores with a sloppy right hand. Omega should have avoided that one.
Omega chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hellstrom can pounce on him.

Omega drops Hellstrom with a beautiful combination! Hellstrom stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Omega is looking for the KO!
Hellstrom throws a lazy uppercut
and Omega counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Some bone on bone action there as Omega checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Omega fires out a quick counter leg kick but Hellstrom just manages to avoid it.
Hellstrom connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Hellstrom scores with the left hand. Omega knows he should have avoided that one.

Omega looks to land a right hand but Hellstrom moved out of range.

and Omega counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Omega drops Hellstrom with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Hellstrom looks back up at him and smiles so Omega waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Omega sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Hellstrom's defenses. It connects perfectly with Hellstrom's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
