The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roman tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lydon paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Lydon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Maximillian Lydon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lydon throws a right hand that Roman ducks under and follows up with a left that Roman also avoids with ease.
Lydon uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Lydon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Roman slips a straight right by Lydon.
Lydon misses with an uppercut. Roman saw that one coming.
Roman half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Roman takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Roman tries to clinch up but Lydon circles away and keeps his distance.
Roman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lydon jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Roman throwing a counter right hand but Lydon manages to avoid it.
Lydon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Roman.
Lydon throws a jab when Roman was well out of range.
Roman appears to be looking for a big counter.

Lydon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lydon cracks Roman with an open hand slap.

Oh Roman is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Roman looks up at the clock. Bad move! Lydon lands a right hand from hell, dropping Roman. Lydon pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
