Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Bateman (ranked 8933 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Molby (ranked 5095 p4p, 579 weight class). Bateman comes to the cage accompanied by Huey Lewis and The News - Hip To Be Square. Molby has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jan Molby was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bateman scores with a takedown into Molby's guard.
Molby looks winded!
Molby can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bateman controls the pace.
Molby looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bateman is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bateman tries to stand but Molby is controlling from the bottom.

Molby is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bateman defends well.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bateman's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Molby has momentary wrist control but Bateman slips an elbow through the middle.
Bateman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Molby tries to sprawl but Bateman drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Well, if Bateman is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bateman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Molby is in trouble now - Bateman has advanced to mount!

Molby is rocked!
Bateman softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Molby is out cold! Bateman jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
