The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Attack on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Mayer connects with a body shot that sends Attack's belly button to the back.
Mayer feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Attacks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Attack uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mayer .

Attack is looking to counter with head kicks.

Mayer has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mayer fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Attack looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Attack takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Attack avoids the body shot from Mayer .
A little feinted left hand from Attack on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Attack takes one to the chin there.
Mayer throws a lazy right hand but Attack sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Attack went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Attack takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Attack takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Mayer dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Mayer misses the shot to the body.
It looked like Attack was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mayer scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Mayer is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mayer looks to score with a jab to the body but Attack is just out of range.

Mayer drops Attack with a beautiful combination! Attack stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mayer is looking for the KO!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Attack gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Mayer gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
