Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shawn Daniels!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cao is trying to keep Daniels in close.
Cao is looking for a triangle but Daniels pushes his legs off easily.
Daniels trying to control but Cao is working from the bottom.

Cao working a defensive guard here.
Daniels is working Cao over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Cao tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cao looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Cao is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Daniels defends well.

Daniels throws a big right hand that misses.
Daniels must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Cao looking for a sweep. Not yet Cao, not yet.
Cao not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Cao might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Cao has his foot on Daniels's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Daniels works his way back into a safe position though.
Cao escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Daniels gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Daniels trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Cao manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Cao seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Daniels really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cao. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cao trying to control but Daniels is working from the bottom.

Cao won't allow Daniels to sweep him here.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daniels can do anything to dispel that myth.
Cao passes Daniels's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Cao is taking a breather. Daniels says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Cao passes to side control.
Daniels is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cao takes a little break here. Daniels wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Cao has an Americana. Daniels didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Cao is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Cao hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Cao Cao!
In his post fight interview, Cao Cao started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
