Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Damian Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ben Hemmingworth and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Taylor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Flores defends well and Taylor ends up having to push Flores into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Taylor stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Taylor wants it to stay on the feet.
Flores avoids a punch combination nicely.

Taylor has Flores up against the cage in a clinch.
Flores prevents a takedown attempt there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Flores has him pressed against the cage.
Taylor drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Paul Flores has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Taylor.

Taylor is trying to pull guard but Flores turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Flores is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Taylor to keep the fight standing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Taylor is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Flores gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Taylor is trying to force a seperation but Flores has the dominant position.
Taylor is pushing Flores up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Flores jumps guard but Taylor turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Taylor is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Flores turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Flores manages to end up in side control.

Flores is working to tighten his grip on Taylor's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Taylor has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Flores is really squeezing tight and eventually Taylor passes out! Flores breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
