Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Lou da Vinci and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nostro closes the distance and pushes Burt back into the cage.
Nostro looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Burt breaks from the clinch.
Nostro drives through and clinches with Burt against the cage.
Nostro works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Burt manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Burt shoots in and gets a takedown into Nostro's guard.
Nostro wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Burt manages to pass to side control.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Burt really is a fat lump.
Burt thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Burt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Burt lands in his opponent's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nostro is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Burt not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Burt cracks Nostro with a solid left hand.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Burt is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Burt's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Burt thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Burt seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Burt throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Nostro was covering up waiting for the punch and Burt finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Burt controls from within his opponent's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Burt's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Burt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nostro sprawls well initially but Burt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Burt is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Nostro has managed to free his arm - good work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burt perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Nostro is breathing heavily.

Nostro is trying to control but can't.
Nostro is defending against the submission attempts here by Burt.
Burt is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Nostro doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Burt.

Burt lands with a punch from half guard.
Burt is controlling the pace.

Burt stands up out of the half guard.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Nostro enables Burt to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Nostro manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Burt won't allow Nostro to get back to his feet.

Nostro wants to control but Burt passes easily into half guard.

Nostro on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Burt slips a nice elbow through Nostro's hands, connecting with Nostro's forehead.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Burt in particular looking to stall.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Burt seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Nostro for as long as he can get away with.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Burt shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Burt was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Burt is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
Burt scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Nostro to see if he's OK.
Nostro takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Burt is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Nostro can do to turn this around?

Burt has an Americana. Nostro didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Burt is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Burt hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
