Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Patrick Chaelsson (ranked 3154 p4p, 133 weight class) and Bungle Davis (ranked 6071 p4p, 214 weight class). Davis has chosen Working Class Hero as his entrance music. Davis has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chaelsson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Davis quickly recovers to half guard.

Chaelsson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Chaelsson winds up and cracks Davis with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Chaelsson slips a nice elbow through Davis's hands, connecting with Davis's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chaelsson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Davis with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Chaelsson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Chaelsson scores with a big shot! Davis's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Davis! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!

After the fight, Patrick Chaelsson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
