The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ratcliffe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Swogger did well to prevent Ratcliffe getting side control.

Swogger makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Swogger slaps away a takedown attempt from Ratcliffe, before circling back to the center of the mat.

and Swogger moves into the clinch.
Ratcliffe goes for a takedown in the clinch but Swogger prevents it.
Evan Swogger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Ratcliffe.
Swogger wants to break the clinch but can't.
Swogger wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Swogger looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Ratcliffe tries for a takedown but Swogger manages to get underhooks.
Swogger is trying to break the clinch but Ratcliffe has him pressed against the cage.
Swogger wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ratcliffe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Swogger walks away with a smile on his face. Ratcliffe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ratcliffe throws out a loose jab but Swogger uses good head movement to avoid it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

It looked like Swogger was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Ratcliffe.

and Swogger counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Swogger connects with a superb combination that knocks Ratcliffe out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Swogger before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Ratcliffe!
