The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kamenov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pederson's corner calls for a 1-2. Pederson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kamenov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've been told by Pederson's head coaches at Death Valley Training Facility that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Pederson lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Pederson wants to take the fight to the mat but Kamenov manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

That kick from Pederson tenderised Kamenov's leg. Kamenov is trying to keep his angry face on.

As Kamenov tries to get set, Pederson tries to push him back and clinch up but Kamenov manages to avoid the attempt.

Donk. Pederson catches Kamenov right on the button with a cross.
The fight stays on the outside here - Pederson looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pederson thuds his right hand into Kamenov's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Pederson walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Kamenov drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pederson swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Kamenov's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
