Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mika Allu (ranked 902 p4p, 91 weight class) and Master Splinter (ranked 1729 p4p, 170 weight class). Splinter has chosen Amongst the fallen foes -by WARHAMMER as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Splinter smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've been informed that Splinter has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
A telegraphed right hand from Splinter misses the target.
Splinter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Splinter checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Allu works Splinter's body with a nice hook.
Mika Allu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allu ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Allu thuds a left hand into Splinter's body.
Splinter is looking to land body kicks.
Splinter throws a low kick but Allu avoids it.
Allu feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Splinter's calf.
Good leg kick by Allu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Splinter throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Allu half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Allu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Splinter looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Allu darts in and clinches Splinter up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Allu lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Splinter.

Allu works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Allu with a nice head shot there.
Splinter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Allu. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Allu lands a couple of digs.
Allu distracts Splinter with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Allu works over Splinter with some ground and pound from guard.

Allu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Splinter's head.

Allu connects with a couple of short punches.
Splinter wants to get back to his feet but Allu is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Splinter is looking to stand up but Allu isn't so interested in that idea.

We've been hearing that Allu has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
Allu is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Allu lands a couple of digs.
Splinter is wriggling around but Allu manages to pass to half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Allu lands a nice short elbow.

Allu takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Splinter is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Allu lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Splinter quite badly. Splinter pulls Allu in close trying to recover. Allu postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Splinter on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Splinter doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mika Allu!
Master Splinter spoke after the fight, saying 'Damnit my brother will never let me hear the end of this....'.
