Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Johnson (ranked 1219 p4p, 193 weight class) and Carl Moore (ranked 1110 p4p, 177 weight class). Moore has chosen Sad Man's Tongue by Volbeat as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Moore throws a hook but Johnson blocks it.
Anthony Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Johnson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moore is controlling him.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Moore working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Moore postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Johnson looks a forlorn figure.

Johnson is rocked!
Moore loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Johnson scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Moore land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Moore stands and salutes the crowd.
