Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joseph Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonathan Denker!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Sergei Dronov and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker throws a leg kick

and Denker counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Denker tries to pass the half guard into mount. Parker knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Parker trying to hold on to Denker's head to control him but Denker postures up.

Denker seems to be looking for submissions.
Denker moves into full mount! Parker won't be happy about that!
Parker wants to control but Denker is having none of it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Denker controlling the pace for now.

Denker wants to finish this one by submission but Parker is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Denker.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Denker is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Parker has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Denker. Oh but Parker has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Denker goes limp - he's gone! Parker jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
