Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Romart (ranked 4815 p4p, 437 weight class) and Brodus Crews (ranked 24428 p4p, 567 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Jeff Romart has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jeff Romart seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crews uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Romart.
Crews fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Romart looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Crews tries to score a power double leg takedown but Romart sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Crews somewhat.
Romart displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Crews.
Romart appears to be looking for a big counter.
Romart misses with a hook
and Crews counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Romart waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Crews.

Romart lands a left and a right that send Crews crashing to the mat, dazed. Romart thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Crews is rocked!

It looks like Brodus Crews has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Romart throws a right and a left that Crews avoids nicely.
Crews is still on wobbly legs! Can Romart finish him?
Crews loses concentration momentarily and Romart pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Crews crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Romart finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
