Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bob Joel (ranked 8201 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Yakuza (ranked 14743 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Legend of Zelda, Overworld kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Bob Joel could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ichi Yakuza's chin.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Joel loads up on a big right hand but Yakuza slips the punch.
Yakuza looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

We've been informed that Yakuza has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Ichi Yakuza seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Joel will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Yakuza can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Joel controls the pace.
Joel has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Joel lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Joel is looking to work some ground and pound but Yakuza has wrist control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
