Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matt Kuchar (ranked 1954 p4p, 234 weight class) and Hannibal Barca (ranked 1217 p4p, 154 weight class). Kuchar comes to the cage accompanied by 21 Savage - No Heart. Barca has chosen Carthage as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Russell Pearce and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Barca misses.
Kuchar scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kuchar rushes Barca and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Barca misses with a punch on the inside.
Barca lands a hook to the side of the head.

Barca scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kuchar tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Barca lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kuchar.
Barca breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kuchar throws a quick inside leg kick.
Kuchar doesn't manage to clinch there - Barca circles away.
Kuchar goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

It looks like Matt Kuchar has been cut.
Kuchar throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Barca on the side of the head.
Kuchar moves into range and clinches up with Barca.
Kuchar throws a punch but it's blocked by Barca.
Barca throws a head punch that misses.

Kuchar blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Barca lands a left hand.
Barca tries to pull guard but Kuchar forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Barca scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Barca pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kuchar lands a jab to the head.
Kuchar misses with a looping right.
Kuchar avoids the body shot from Barca.

and Barca counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A looping hook to the body misses from Kuchar. Barca does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Barca or perhaps it was just good defense by Kuchar, which made it look bad.
Kuchar lunges at Barca with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Barca's hand.
Kuchar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kuchar sizes up Barca with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kuchar tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barca swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Matt Kuchar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kuchar closes the distance but Barca moves to the side
letting Barca counter with a right hand.
Kuchar lands a nice looking kick to the body. Barca takes a step back to recover.
Barca shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Kuchar manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Barca wants to control from the top but Kuchar keeps moving.
Kuchar is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Barca is controlling him.
Barca thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Barca stops Kuchar from standing up.

Kuchar is looking to stand up but Barca isn't so interested in that idea.
Kuchar has momentary wrist control but Barca slips an elbow through the middle.

Kuchar keeping moving, preventing Barca from controlling successfully.
Barca missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Barca loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Barca connects with a couple of short punches.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Barca throws a big elbow that misses.
Kuchar wants to get back to his feet but Barca is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Barca wants to pass the guard but Kuchar is keeping the position.
Barca working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Kuchar is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Barca pushing down on Kuchar's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Kuchar kicks Barca off and gets back to his feet.
Kuchar has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Barca finds it's way round the side to connect with Kuchar's head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hannibal Barca will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Matt Kuchar's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Kuchar connects with a right hand. Barca shakes it off.

Kuchar slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kuchar looks to land a combination but Barca avoids it well.
Barca throws a jab when Kuchar was well out of range.

Kuchar takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Barca blocks a jab.
Oh Kuchar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Matt Kuchar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Barca lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Kuchar up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Barca from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Kuchar's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Hannibal Barca!
During a confident post fight interview, Hannibal Barca thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
