Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bismack Kagonbo (ranked 851 p4p, 93 weight class) and Karl Karlsson (ranked 490 p4p, 55 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Kagonbo might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Voodoo. Karlsson has chosen 300 Violin Orchestra as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Karlsson.
Kagonbo looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Kagonbo tries to work over Karlsson's front leg with a kick but Karlsson checks it.
Kagonbo takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

It looks like Bismack Kagonbo has been cut.
A head kick by Karlsson misses
and Kagonbo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Karlsson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Kagonbo is looking to chop away at Karlsson's legs.
Kagonbo misses with a double jab.
Kagonbo lands with a shot to the body.
Karlsson sizes up Kagonbo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Kagonbo throws out a leg kick but Karlsson moves out of range and Kagonbo only half commits.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Karlsson, right into the meat.
Karlsson moves away from the strike by Kagonbo.
Karlsson moves out of range of the strikes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Kagonbo tries to bum rush Karlsson with a series of wild strikes but Karlsson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kagonbo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kagonbo attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Karlsson replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Kagonbo blocks it well.
Kagonbo uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Karlsson.
Karlsson takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Kagonbo tries to work over Karlsson's front leg with a kick but Karlsson checks it.
Karlsson misses with a wild combination.
Karlsson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Karlsson lands a high kick!
Karlsson looks to land a combination but Kagonbo avoids it well.
A lazy left from Kagonbo finds it's target.
Kagonbo tries to land a front kick but Karlsson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Karlsson lands a big head kick that sends Kagonbo tumbling to the mat! Karlsson takes a step backwards and waves Kagonbo back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kagonbo is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Karlsson connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Kagonbo out cold! This one is over in a flash!

After the fight, Karl Karlsson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Bismack Kagonbo stepped up to the mic, saying 'Breathes heavily....growls...'.
