Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Mcintyre (ranked 7829 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tai Musaki (ranked 7467 p4p, 0 weight class). Tai Musaki has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcintyre tries to close the distance and clinch but Musaki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mcintyre cracks a nice hook into Musaki 's ribs.

Musaki instigates a clinch.
Mcintyre jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Musaki walks away with a smile on his face. Mcintyre gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Mcintyre counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Mcintyre knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Musaki on the ground.

Musaki seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Musaki gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Musaki tightens his grip and picks Mcintyre up, before dumping him to the ground. Mcintyre manages to land in guard.
Mcintyre wants to stand up but Musaki is controlling him.
Mcintyre is looking to stand back up but Musaki counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Mcintyre.

Mcintyre scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Musaki .

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Mcintyre trying to stall but Musaki improves his position.

Musaki decides to pull guard.
Musaki seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Mcintyre postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Musaki has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Mcintyre has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Musaki has the hooks in. Mcintyre is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Musaki passes his arm under Mcintyre's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Mcintyre taps!
