Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between German Fischer (ranked 24874 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Rupin (ranked 7070 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, German Fischer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Harry Rupin!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rupin shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Fischer is trying to defend but Rupin finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Harry Rupin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rupin has gone for a leg lock! Fischer slips out almost immediately though and dives into Rupin's guard.

That was a close round but I would say that German Fischer will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Rupin shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fischer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

German Fischer overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rupin accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Harry Rupin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Rupin lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Rupin lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Rupin misses with a body kick.
Fischer fails to land the takedown.
As Fischer backs off Rupin throws a huge counter combo but Fischer manages to avoid it all.

Rupin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Rupin wants to take a breather but Fischer manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Rupin.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fischer's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Fischer gets to his feet. Rupin looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Fischer scores with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fischer throws a wild body kick that Rupin sees coming a mile off.
Rupin stuffs the takedown.
Rupin doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Fischer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rupin sprawls well. Rupin wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Fischer gets slowly back to his feet.
Rupin now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for German Fischer. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Harry Rupin comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Rupin has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
