The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Philips fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Cheat to the ground. Philips is now in Cheat's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Philips is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Cheat has momentary wrist control but Philips slips an elbow through the middle.
Philips cracks Cheat with a solid left hand.
Philips slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Philips might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Cheat throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Philips escapes and throws Cheat's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Cheat really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Philips. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
