Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Luke Cage (ranked 7926 p4p, 494 weight class) and Sandu Lungu (ranked 2639 p4p, 237 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sandu Lungu!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cage has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cage there as he acknowledges the shot.
Lungu lands a jab to the head.

Cage has closed the distance and engaged Lungu in a clinch.

Lungu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lungu tests Cage's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lungu lands a jab to the nose.
Lungu jabs Cage to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Sandu Lungu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cage takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lungu scores with a crisp jab that stopped Cage in his tracks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cage takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lungu throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Lungu lands with a hook. Cage tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Cage moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Lungu connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Cage takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Lungu lands a glancing blow to the side of Cage's head.

Lungu is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Cage is working for takedown but Lungu is calmly controlling the position for now.

A nice right hand lands inside from Lungu.

Lungu lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Lungu works on Cage's body with a couple of short punches.
Lungu misses with a punch on the inside.

Lungu makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

Lungu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Nice jab there from Lungu.
Lungu connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Cage's hands.
Lungu lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lungu moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cage.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Lungu! But no joy.
Lungu lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Cage moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Cage shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lungu might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Cage's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lungu connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cage scrambles back to his feet.
Lungu fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

Cage has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lungu finds it's way round the side to connect with Cage's head.

A cross from Lungu lands.
Oh Cage is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
BOOM! Lungu lands a beautiful left hook that drops Cage. Cage tries to recover but Lungu is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Cage lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sandu Lungu!
