Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kel Hunsaker (ranked 2957 p4p, 141 weight class) and Frank Greene (ranked 4254 p4p, 182 weight class). Greene has chosen Tiger rap-by ANDRE NICOTINA as his entrance music. Kel Hunsaker has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kel Hunsaker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Greene!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Greene looking to score a takedown here. Hunsaker is defending well but Greene drives through and ends up in Hunsaker's guard.
Greene works over Hunsaker with some ground and pound from guard.

Hunsaker looking for a guillotine here but Greene defends easily.
Greene lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Hunsaker working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Greene doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Greene manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunsaker seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Hunsaker bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Greene's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Greene is looking to control Hunsaker's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Greene avoid being mounted?
Greene might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hunsaker haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Hunsaker uses his free foot to push down on Greene's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Greene.

Hunsaker avoids the attempt from Greene to control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Greene can do anything to dispel that myth.
Greene is squirming around, avoiding Hunsaker's attempts to control the action.
Greene tries to hold on but Hunsaker postures up.
Greene is trying to escape the mount.
Greene is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Greene is wriggling around trying to escape.
Greene tries to lock up and control but Hunsaker gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Greene can't escape the position.
Greene swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Hunsaker trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Hunsaker blocks Greene's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Greene keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Hunsaker avoids the attempt from Greene to control.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Hunsaker looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Greene wants to control but Hunsaker is having none of it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!



Greene dives in and scores a takedown into Hunsaker's guard.
Greene slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Greene working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
Hunsaker not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Greene must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Hunsaker has Greene pulled in close to control his posture.

Hunsaker is looking to regain half guard here but Greene keeps moving and retains side control.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
You can see the frustration on Hunsaker's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Greene is trying to control. Hunsaker wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Greene connects with a nice short shot to Hunsaker's temple.

Greene perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Greene working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Hunsaker is rocked!
Hunsaker is pressing down on Greene's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Oh Hunsaker is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Hunsaker is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Greene defends well.

Hunsaker pulls Greene in close to prevent any damage.

Hunsaker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Greene can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Greene lands a couple of elbows.
Hunsaker is looking to stand up but Greene isn't so interested in that idea.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Greene's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Hunsaker looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Greene working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Hunsaker's head.
Greene gets to his feet and stands over Hunsaker, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Hunsaker felt that one! Greene unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Hunsaker from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Frank Greene!
